Come watch Yuka Kodama Ballet Group perform Exam Day! and More Memories of Mr. Jones!
1st part, More Memories of Mr. Jones is a tribute to the wonderful artist whom we lost 10 years ago.
We will also present Exam Day! In some countries, ballet dancers have to pass the national exams in order to qualify as professional dancers. We will show scenes from final state examinations at a vocational ballet school. These exams test the different skills, from classical, acting, character dances and many more, that professional dancers need to master, and they are based around excerpts from the classical repertoires.
